New Patients

Dr. Cuprill and the rest of us here at Orlando Holistic Dental Studio are dedicated to providing you and your loved ones with a pleasant experience the first time – and every time – you visit our office.

What Can I Expect at My First Visit?

Your first appointment will be for an exam and consultation. Dr. Cuprill will assess your needs and concerns. He’ll take the time to explain your diagnosis and treatment options.

Occasionally, treatment can be done on the same day, but a complex dental case or medical history may require additional appointments.

Do let us know in advance of any medical condition that may be of concern before treatment, or if you are currently taking any medication or require medication before dental cleanings.

What Do I Need to Bring?

Once you’ve scheduled your first visit with us, download and fill out these forms. Bring them with you to your appointment.

Also bring

  • Dental x-rays or other images less than 6 months old.
  • A list of all medications and supplements you currently take. (Include herbal and homeopathic remedies, as well.)
  • Your dental insurance card or forms.
  • Your referral slip (if applicable).

If you have concerns or questions, feel free to contact us before your visit.

Do You Treat Children?

We treat the whole family at Orlando Holistic Dental Studio, but we do require a parent or guardian accompany all patients under 18 at the first visit.

We understand each patient is unique and that no treatment or service is one-size-fits-all. If your child has special needs we should be aware of, just let us know. We’re happy to discuss any concerns you may have before your child’s appointment.

Will I Have to Get New X-rays?

You might not. If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 6-months), ask them to forward the images to our office. If the copies are not of good diagnostic quality or if additional x-rays are needed, we can take them here.

How Soon Can I Get an Appointment?

We’ll schedule your appointment as soon as possible. If you’re experiencing pain or have a dental emergency, every attempt will be made to see you that day.

We do our best to stay on schedule so you won’t have to wait. However, various circumstances can sometimes lengthen the time allotted for a procedure. Emergency cases can also arise and cause delays. If this happens, we appreciate your understanding and patience.
