Charles Cuprill, DMD, NMD, IBDM, FIAOMT, CIABDM, AFAAID, FICOI
grew up in Puerto Rico, completing his undergraduate studies at George Mason University in Virginia before earning his DMD at the Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine.
After two years with the General Practice Residency program at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he was named Chief Resident, Dr. Cuprill graduated with a fellowship in implantology and biomaterials.
Dr. Cuprill established his practice in 2011 as Orlando Dental & Implant Studio, working with Evergreen Construction Management to build an eco-friendly practice using green materials, water- and energy-efficient fixtures, and a high efficiency HVAC system.
It was the first practice of its kind in central Florida. For its commitment to eco-friendly initiatives, the office was awarded the GreenDOC Gold Seal by the Eco Dentistry Association.
A continual student, Dr. Cuprill’s studies focused his commitment to holistic and biological dentistry – a change so profound, it merited the change of his brand from Orlando Dental & Implant Studio to Orlando Holistic Dental Studio, highlighting his emphasis on dentistry that keeps your whole body health in mind.
To run a mercury-free and mercury-safe practice, Dr. Cuprill has earned SMART certification with the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), of which he is also a fellow and current president. He is also an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists.
Additionally, Dr. Cuprill is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantologists.
In 2021, Dr. Cuprill was board certified in Integrative Biological Dental Medicine by the American College of Integrative Medicine and Dentistry and certified as a biological dentist by the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine.
The Lake Nona/Lake Hart area is where Dr. Cuprill, his wife Anja, and their children call home. He and Anja enjoy following a sustainable and green lifestyle, conserving water and energy, maintaining a vegetable garden, composting, and minimizing their carbon footprint by supporting local businesses and farmers.
When he’s not taking care of his patients and family, Dr. Cuprill enjoys playing ice hockey and following the Washington Capitals and Washington Football Team. He and Anja also love going to concerts and enjoying time with their family. You may even see them with the kids out for a meal at one of the great local food trucks!
